Extreme growth!

I have begun to wash my hair every second day and also take two hair skin and nails vitamins and a multivitamin everyday, and my hair is growing FAST! Along with scalp massages every couple of days. Everyone is commenting on how long it looks! I cant wait for my measurement and the end of the month! Hope you guys have had such success as me!

LHC

Hey guys. Pursuing still for my quest to waist length hair, I have come across a goldmine. What's that you say? The recipe for instant hair growth? No. But I've got the next best thing - LHC (Or if you're not into letters, then the Long Hair Community) People from all over the world have combined in their hair journeys, sharing tips, secrets, and just talking about life. New length update!

I have taken my monthly hair measurements, and i am happy to say, success! there had been about half an inch to an inch of new growth, which is great! here you go (just the comparison from the first measurement and this month)

doesn't that look great! thats about a solid 3 inches! woohoo. progress, evident but slow.
have any of you had success in your journeys? i hope so!

Coconut Hair Oil

I recently went on a personaly challenge to use coconut oil on my hair as a deep conditioning treatment (bad split ends) but couldn't find any ANYWHERE so I settled for a treatment instead. Pantene Night Miracle was drawn to my attentionbecause of its relatively cheap price ($10 at woolworths) and seemingly fab claims.

Conditions and repairs 8 hours while you sleep
Leaves no greasy residue on your pillow
No need to rinse out, just wake up and go

Well I am yet to try this but i wish to look into the benefits of coconut oil a little more closely... comment if you know more!

3 Minute Miracle Treatment

Today i tried the Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Treatment
Heres how it went...

Shampooed with Pantene Moisture Daily Shampoo
Conditioned with Pantene Moisture Daily Conditioner
Squeezed hair free of water
Applied little tube of this magic (only used half)
Waited for three mins while exfoliating
Washed it out

My first impressions-

well when washing it out my hair still felt dry and coarse, so i thought oh well, another fail. But now it's dried my hair seels SO SOFT AND MOISTURISED!!! Wow and i cant stop playing with it, so i totally recommend this!!

Sunsilk Lively Blonde leave in cream

Hey guys,
i have just disovered the bottle of Sunsilk's Lively Blonde leave in cream that i bought at the go-lo down at narooma a year ago. It smells slightly nutty and creamy, so i thought i'd give it another go. My hair is a brassy yellow and this really bringsd out the hidden blonde in it! although it does make my hair even MORE yellow that it already is, i really like the stuff. I would recommend trying this for your hair as it is also a moisturising kind of treatment too, so it cant be bad!

new sunsilk longer and stronger

im happy to say that i have bought another bottle of sunsilk longer and stronger. but gasp! it has been new-ified! they made it into a co-creation with teddy charles or somesuch person and there's a new scent too! JUST LIKE SKITTLES!

I just had a thought. am i talking to myself? because it seems like noones listening.

ok now. my hair seems to be getting shorter. i dont know how. i dont know why. but i just cant get it to get longer. my techniques

im not actually trying anything else. well on the case, i believe research is in order, ill update you with more ideas!

I straightened my hair :S
Naughty me! Oh well I used a heat protectant and stuff. The only bad thing was that my hair is too curly to straighten and just pops back up in waves again :) oh well :P

Long Hair Relationship Review and More!

And begin to lather up.

Oh the scent, beutifully berryish (think gardenia) yet not overpowering. Mmmm... Rinsey Rinsey Rinssee... Ok! Apply the conditioner... Good, nice. Ok. Shavey Shavey Shave... Ooops! Rinse Rinse Rinse Rinse! Mmmm silky goodness!

This was the basis of my shower tonight. When the suds were flowing during the 'rinse cycle' I took the liberty of reading the ingredients of my previous Herbal Essences 'Drama Clean' Holy Gosh! Let me list the bad sounding Sodium "insertlongwordhere' ingredients for you...

Sodium Laureth sulfate
Sodium lauryl sulfate

Sodium Chloride
Sodium Benzoate

Hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride (!!gosh that was a mouthful!!)

Linoleamidopropylpg-dimonium chloride phosphate

Many many more l0ng words i couldnt be bothered to type

Sodium xylene sulfonate

I think thats it. What did you say? They are the same ingredients as in your paint stripper? Sure sounds like it! I am officially giving up harsh cleansers once and for all. But golly my new shampoo makes my hair silky!!!!!!!!! It also combatted my annoying cowlick flyaways too! Yaaay! I'm all for Herball Essences Long term relationship!

Hair Growth So Far

Hey guys so i'd like to show you how long my hair has grown in 5 months using all these treatments (listed below) Hope you guys can see my efforts!

So this is photos over 5 months time... yea my hair seems to be growing nicely!

Treatments

So I've been using some methods to increasing my hair growth. Between March 25th (4 Months) and April 22nd (5months) I have used these techniques;


Scalp Massage
Hair, Skin and Nails Vitamins (any vitamins containing Biotin will do)
Schwartzkopf Normal Balance Express Repair Leave-in Conditioning treatment

Occasionally:

Redken Anti-Snap Treatment
Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Leave-in Cream
Olive-oil deep conditioning treatment

Redken Anti-Snap

Today at a friends house I tried Redken Anti Snap treatment. I would definetely recommend this as my friend is an obsessive straightener yet her hair is in perfect condition? Why may you ask? Well it's this little bottle of gorgeousness. The scent is unbelievable. The tether of your hair afterwards is magical. This is truly something I would invest in all you heat junkies out there

Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner

Hey guys! Today's I'm going to write a review of sunsilks shampoo and conditioner line Loner and Stronger. Firrst of all, I really recommend this product. It smells brilliant, and seemed to really make my haIr GROW! It also seemed to have a gentle straightening effect on my hair overtime, also adding to the length of my hair. I think this stuff is wonderful, next up on the reviews list - herbal essences Long term relationship!

My Hair Routine

So I thought you guys would like to know my hair routine, well here it is!

Brush hair out before showering
Shower with shampoo and conditioner
squeeze water out - comb hair and part
leave to dry / use leave-in conditioner on towel dried hair
no heat styling AT ALL
leave hair out to sleep

well thats about it!

- I'm proud to say that I have not used a blowdryer in over a year now xD
